Hi! So we are still here and still doing well. We have just had a lot going on. Ziva and I visited the grandparents for two weeks. Then on making it back we just got busy, busy, busy. I know you all understand.
Now prepare yourself for quite a few posts and a whole lot of pictures. I took over 1,300 on our trip. That is a lot to go through, choose and then edit. So if you think there could have been a better picture, more or less, or that they could use a little work, I am sorry. That is the best I can do right now.
Now with prompting of grandmas and Jason here I will be working on posting more regularly.

Summer Trip 2009 - A Neat Spot in Little Rock
Amy and Chad have such a neat neighbor. He's very nice and pleasant. He also has a workshop where I am assuming he made the treasures found in the pictures below. I love what they did! I can not even begin to tell you how my imagination would have gone crazy if I had seen this as a child. How fun! How wonderful!
Look closer.
Summer Trip 2009 - The Dresses
Here are the dresses I made for the girls. I wanted to make them coordinating "boutique" dresses. It was the first time I had make little girl clothes that complicated. There are few things I would change in the directions (what were they thinking) and a few things I personally would do different. Still I am pretty proud of how they turned out. The fabric all come from the same line, Whimsy (sunrise palette) by Pillow and Maxfield. I hope the girls enjoyed them because I can't wait to make more!
Note: There are a lot of pictures. I wanted to take cute pictures of the girls and record the dress for my records. I also wanted to take the pictures outside in Jan and Marty's lovely backyard. I would have also liked to have the auto focus set. So you are going to see a few fuzzy pics and then a few others. The ones taken inside are closest to the fabrics true colors.

Summer Trip 2009 - Oklahoma City Zoo
While in Oklahoma City, Ziva got to visit her first Zoo. I was very excited to show her everything. She took most of it in quietly, pondering it all. We all had a good but hot time.
Moments after this photo Ziva stuck her fingers in the cage. Awesome.
