Seriously, I'm Playing Here
We've probably already told you a thousand times how serious our daughter is, but I'm gonna tell ya again anyway. Ziva is so serious. She is the total opposite from Jason and me (at least we think so). Things may change, but right now serious is the MO for this baby. I don't think I have ever seen a baby so intense. Sometimes I just want to tell her, "Honey, lighten up. It's just a toy. You play with them." Yet, if this is who she is then so be it. In the picture below Ziva is "playing" with her Elmo remote. She has already studied it for hours but I guess she still needs to put more time in. God Bless her. She's not even one yet and she has better study habits than her parents. I guess that's what happens when you have an attention sp...what was I talking about?
Mmmm...Tasty

Father's Day - I
It must seem like a lot of pictures, but I could not help myself. I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the past six months. Doing that has brought me to the fact that I must celebrate my husband and my daughter's Father, Jason!
He is such an amazing man. You all are so far away that you don't get to see him everyday, so I wanted to retouch on those past moments. I am blessed abundantly by the Lord. I could not have asked for a better man to be my husband and father to Ziva. I can not emphasise waiting on the Lord and His planning. It is so amazing when you do. Now things aren't perfect, we're still human, but I will take tripping over shoes everyday for the humor, love, encouragement, respect, happiness, generosity, hard work, romance, leadership, support and all around silliness that I get from Jason.
So HAPPY FATHER'S DAY JASON! I hope your first one is amazing. Ziva and I love you so much!

Motherhood
I now know that I am officially a mother. I walked around our apartment for at least an hour with my shoes on the wrong feet. I knew something was amiss, but didn't have a chance to check it out. Wow. I'm glad it was just my shoes and that I didn't forget to put pants on or something worse! Oh...and don't look at my old pedicure...just one more way I know I am a mommy. But you know what. IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT!!!!

Furry Friends
So I guess its time Jason and I admit that our daughter isn't convinced with our humor. We can hardly get her to laugh. We can already tell that she is going to be a very serious person and this part of her personality is the most common. All day long she is investigating and learning. We love it, but every now and again we would like to make her laugh more. She smiles but not much laughing at us. Unless your a dog or cat, which she finds immensely hilarious! She loves the animals. Jason and try not to show our hurt but we think we're funny too! ;)
