Baby Sister
"Baby Siser" is a very hot topic here in the Brown house. Ziva asks about her, reads about her in her new "big sister book" and then there's the patting my tummy to "love" siser. We are practising being gentle with baby with Z's doll. Ziva likes to give her a bottle. We can't wait to see what she does when she really meets her baby sister.

Working Out
We decided that Ziva needed to shed a couple of pounds, so we started her on an exercising plan. Just kidding. Once again my little girl is copying her mommy. This time with working out. On her very own, she found two toys that looked like weights and then drug out my mat. She also stands and does shoulder presses but won't let me take pictures of that. I am sad to say that she has been working out more than me lately.

Quietly Playing
If you were to walk in to our house don't be surprised to find Ziva setting at her table playing quietly. Such a blessing. Sometimes it's reading. Sometimes it coloring. This time it is playing with her puzzle. If you look closely at the bottom puzzle you will see the pieces are in the wrong places. He he.
Big Girl Cup
Jason decided it was time for Ziva to start drinking out of a "big girl cup." Only at the table or in the kitchen. It is messy and will take a while for her to learn how to handle it completely. As the one who will mostly clean up after these messes, I don't mind. Cleaning the mess is small compared to the learning and growth she is going though. Plus she has to learn sometime. It is worth her being so proud of herself. Can't spend the whole time worried about a mess. Childhood won't wait.

Gather Around
Ready to Go
Lately, Ziva has been getting herself ready to "go." No, we don't let her walk out the door this way. It is cute though. It is hard for me not to take offense. She is in the mimicking stage majorly and its very enlightening to see yourself through your child's eyes. But I do not go out looking that way.
Faces of Z
Silly Girl
I know. I know. You don't have to say it. Our child is crazy. We love that she has no shame. Just hoping it doesn't happen in public when she's older.
Ziva is wearing my fingerless gloves (good for hand sewing when your cold) and then my gardening gloves. She's not wearing a shirt and has wet pants because she drinks out of a "big girl cup."
