Memorial Day

Ziva spent her first memorial day taking in her first Modern Art Museum. Then she explored down town Savannah. She had a great time. Met lots of people. She was so good.

20 Weeks - May 22, 2008

Here are the pics of Ziva when she was 20wks. Once again sorry I am behind on updates. Also, sorry that you can't see her face. She had recently discovered her feet and now we can't get her to look up when she is sitting.

When my parents were here my dad, Poppy, bought Ziva her highchair. It's awesome. It's the beautiful and fun rain forest one! Ziva loves it! She loves looking at it. She grabs for it as we walk by. It is so fun. Thank you Poppy!!

Oh How My Baby has Grown!

A week ago today my sweet baby turned 20wks. These pictures are from the night before. Sorry we are behind on our updates. Anyway, look at how much Ziva has grown! The little strawberry pjs were NB that she wore forever and they were too big at first! Both Jason and I can't believe it. We're just thankful the Lord has blessed us with such a wonderful person to watch grow up and guide along the way.

A New Friend for Ziva

On Sunday, May18th, Ziva got to meet someone very important to me, Leah England (AKA Edwards). I have known Leah since elementary school and now she's prego! We got to celebrate this new life and show off Ziva all in one party. Leah looked awesome! Skinny mini still and in high heels! Ziva was also quite the social butterfly when she disappeared with the dad-to-to-be to hang with the guys by the pool. Already, the center of attention, what will Jason do in 16 years?!?

May has been a whirl wind of busyness for us. This included Nanny and Poppy Ivy coming to visit us in the middle of the month. Ziva had a awesome time with them both. She especially loved her morning walks with Poppy.

Nap Time Habits

It is too funny when Ziva is in her swing and decides that she is tired and will take a nap. She takes her "taggie," covers her face and then goes to sleep. If she would just ask I would turn the lights down. I guess this works for her.

Hand Me Downs Are the Best

Awesome Aunt Katy let us borrow Jaxon's activity station. Nanny Ivy brought it to us. It was worth the wait. Ziva loves it. She didn't even complain that it wasn't brand new. She's sensible and cute!

First Feeding

Here's Ziva's first meal! It was so fun. She took to eating "real" (loose translation again) like she was a...a...a..a Brown. She did so good. We are so proud. What a big little girl she is.

Breakfast in Bed

Look at my awesome Mother's Day Breakfast. Since my day starts at 6:40am, Jason had to get up earlier than that to get all of it cooked. I am so loved! What an awesome husband I have. As well as the sweetest daughter ever. I am so blessed by the Lord!

Practise Makes Perfect

Ziva got the okay to start solids (they define this loosely). So we let her explore the spoon before we started shoving it towards her face.

4 Month Check Up

On Thursday, May 8th, Ziva had her four month check up. She weighed 13lbs and 13oz. She is 25 inches long. Everything else checked out great. She did have to get shots which weren't so great. After a nap she seemed to be doing better. It is so true, they grow so fast!

Monkey See

Ziva has been enamored with cups for a while now. Wanting to hold one when ever she was near one. So I thought, let's see what happens. She had a blast playing with it and even seemed to know what to do. Cheapest toy, yet.

Waking Up Refreshed

We are so proud of Ziva! Thursday night, May 1st, Ziva went to bed around 7:45pm and slept through the night. I woke her up at 7am. She only fussed once for a few minutes around 5am. She woke up happy as usual. This is her celebration pic.

Bath Time

As part of our four month celebration daddy gave Ziva a bath. She was in control. Kicking water on daddy is fun!

The Remote

This is one of Ziva's favorite toys. Jason isn't to sure about it but he thinks it's fun to watch her try to get the buttons. Then I started thinking...what happens when she can pick them off. How much does it cost to replace a DVD player remote, a Cable remote or cell phone. Maybe we shouldn't encourage this.
